A line from one of Jose Mari Chan’s masterpiece…. Indeed, it is in life’s changes that we become who we are today and who we will be in the future. Moments of truth has come closely for us, batch 2010-2011, to utter our final ‘goodbye’s’ and ‘see you soon’s’ to the threshold of our educational institution. I firmly believe that we are all geared up to combat with the forthcoming trials in our lives. I am positive that we can conquer whatever barrier there is in our chosen direction in order to succeed. Such optimism in me is due to the provision of sufficient knowledge and skills of the Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai International School family. We haven’t just learned to read, write and count, but we have learned the importance of such entities. We were taught of what is there outside the box, we were taught to ‘go beyond the knowledge level’. We have acquired unique skills in leadership that allowed us to lead ourselves in spearheading changes. We were given ample opportunities to showcase our own skills and talents. Good manners and proper etiquette have been planted in our ego. These and all other things alike will surely serve as our weapons and edge as we soon, step out of the 4 fun-filled years in High-school and step in to a much extreme environment in College.
To the essential persons behind the Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai International School, the faculty, the administrative staff, and all other school personnel, may our outmost appreciation and gratitude- be always in your hearts to inspire and develop more people. Your priceless contribution will always be part of our success. We will push through and be at our best at all times to make you proud, so as to, honor all of your countless efforts.
To the teachers, (mention the names) a thousand thanks be to you, for the patience, knowledge, values, sacrifices and of course, numerous requirements- which terrified but taught us to be hardworking students.
To the Juniors, we hand over you the portals of the institution, the classroom- with its finest whiteboard and platform, the corridors-where you can freely walk through to reach you classroom or allows you to have a short glance with your crushes, the computer laboratory-with its flat screen units, the library and its resources, the drinking fountain, the comfort room and its wide mirror which patiently faced our cliché ‘faces’, the TLE room, the bulletin boards-which never ran out of announcements, the newly extended gym- where we always place ourselves to show our participation in the school’s meaningful activities, the indispensable stage- where we showcase our unique talents, thicken our face, present impromptu performances and teaches us to be proud, the sound system, the canteen- where we are taught to eat and have our snacks without softdrinks, the clinic, the sport’s complex and the baseball field-where we spend consecutive days under the heat of the sun to enjoy the tiresome yet productive activities of MAPEH. Our batch wishes you to value these as much as we did and further recognize its importance to your High school life.
